The workshop was great. Very helpful. I start thinking about how I would compose a picture with the view in front of me wherever I go. Seriously, l learnt how to control aperture and shutter speed to get different style of pictures; taking moving projects by controlling aperture and shutter speeds. Also, some basic rules concerning composition of a pic are very useful too. Julia Xu (China)

The workshop met my expectations in some areas and exceeded them in others. It was a very wise investment of my time and money, it was relaxed and fun, and I learned a great deal not only about my camera and photography but also about the area of Beijing we photographed. The most uniquely valuable part was Peter critiquing our photos and showing us what should be corrected in Lightroom.  This was great for learning what to focus on improving and what to keep doing right, more than reading any book could do. I thought the workshop was well-run and was as applicable to a total novice like myself as it would be to someone that has been in photography for years. The most useful part was the lecture on composition and photography basics. You did a good job on explaining the fundamentals of great photography. Ben William Voss (USA)
